What is not here, on purpose
ASIC registered liquidators
ASIC registered liquidators
The liquidator register is keyed by person name only, with no ABN or ACN to join
on, so it is not yet an identifier lookup. It is a name-match surface for a future
release.
Paid ASIC extracts (directors, ownership)
Paid ASIC extracts (directors, ownership)
Directors, shareholders, and beneficial ownership live in the paid ASIC company
extract, or in no register at all. They are out of scope. See
Honest boundaries.
OpenCorporates and QCC
OpenCorporates and QCC
These are paywalled aggregators, not sources AUO ingests. Their identifiers already
arrive free inside the GLEIF record’s
external_ids, so you get them without paying
a reseller.Licensing and attribution
Most sources are CC-BY: the ASIC registers, ACNC, ORIC, and GLEIF are open data, free to use with attribution. Two carry extra conditions worth knowing:- ABR data carries re-disclosure use-conditions. AUO surfaces it for verification and monitoring; if you plan to redistribute it, check the ABR terms.
- Court and notice data can carry suppression orders. AUO sources insolvency notices from public ASIC listings.
How fresh is it
Each source refreshes on its own cadence (ASIC companies weekly, sanctions daily, and so on). Because sources refresh independently, two can briefly disagree; AUO flags the conflict rather than silently picking one, and every field’sas_of timestamp tells you when it was last read.
